I like to classify things in an effort to simplify them but more often than not end up in complicating them.Personally, I am a romantic as most engineers are and likewise single. So, there i was sitting and contemplating the pros and cons of this single status of mine( not something i normally do, can be considered as the repercussions of watching another romantic movie ). So this is how my thought engine works, "CLASSIFY".

Now ,there are four categories of romantics I know of... :

i ) Single and happy
ii ) Committed and happy
iii) Single and looking, and
iv) the most preposterous of them all committed and looking!!

My arena of thought will be focused on the categories labeled i) and iii) . For those in category ii) well, i am happy for them, and wish them a great future. As for those in category iv), either stop calling yourself committed or get an upgrade to category ii) you moron.

There's another logic behind arranging the classification as i have done, it is the order of preference I would like to see myself (as of now).

I normally am a member of the category i), but this blog is a result of a slump to category iii). Dont worry I will be back on top before long. So, here i am thinking over the pros and cons of this status of mine :

BEING SINGLE :

Advantages------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i) You get to do what you want, when you want. (this is the greatest priviledge people of category i) are awarded with.)
ii) You are always available for he next beautiful girl. :P
iii) You can concern yourself with a lot of useful things like Studying etc..

Disadvantage----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those of category i) go home, shake a leg make merry u got nothing to worry about. But if you fall in category iii), there are a lot of things you need to ponder over, like, who do you call after watching any romantic movie, or who do you accompany to the salsa workshop.......and lots of other stuff. My only suggestion for them "Don't go down cheap, wait for the right girl".

I personally believe in the "marriages made in heaven thing" so maybe I am a little impractical, but thats what I am---- A ROMANTIC .

hi people, I finally decided to do away with all the remnants of procrastination that were holding me from foraying into this world of blogs.....so here i am.

There are times when you think u have nothing to do and you actually do nothing. And there are those times when u actually have lots to do and end up doing all the wrong things . Presently I happen to be in midst of the latter.....

Screwed the first exam of my mid sems today and not at all prepared for the second and what do i do..... write a weird little blog........which you all would agree ain't a blog at all.

So whats the first thing that comes to your mind when you sit to write a blog.....hmmmm lemme see..... yes - " what's my blog gonna be about ? "Then you let your brain do some thinking and come across any weird idea that it could come up with.....RESULT---- "BLANK". Some more seriousness , maybe a cup of coffee would help....you run* across to the nescafe shop.

run* - it's exams time for God's sake...

so the coffee mug's empty ----- so is your brain. I don't know about you guys but that's the case with me :( . Neways i start with an introduction....5 minutes later again the irritating stuff that could not come up wid a single "TOPIC" interrupts..... " Is it too modest" ---> Modifications ----> "that sounds a little too haughty"..."cut the crap...who needs an introduction ain't my blog linked to an orkut account".....so i erase all that i had written.

1 hour gone and all i have is a blank page....Now for all the impatient readers let me assume i finally get a topic to write on....hmmmm now again i rattle my brain...."where do i start...." let me read a few blogs first....so thats what i do.....HERE comes another big problem that amateur bloggers often find --- "good but he's just lucky to come across such an idea...." or " you dont expect people to be using a dictionary while reading blogs...." or the worst of all " thats what i was writing about..."

Assume ideal case (i.e u some how manage to avoid all the glitches and some how come across a blog that inspires you to write) , and you start writing......another 15 minutes and you are prepared with a rough draft of what your blog will look like. You edit ----> read----> again edit---> show it to a friend----> edit and post.

But as it happened with me i failed to come across any such thing and ended up posting "my experience of writing my first blog" as my first blog. You may have a laugh at it but those who feel that it is a serious lack of competency on my part, please do pour in your comments.

Please look forward to some creative stuff from me....now you cant expect a fellow to start writing his first blog at 2 o' clock in the night. I assure you i am creative... :P
